I remember being shocked when a friend told me that they had never owned a microwave.
But then I realized that for many years I didn’t own a cellphone.
Eventually my family shamed me into carrying an Iphone with me.
I didn’t buy it, my wife gave me her old Iphone 6S and let me piggyback on her plan.
I’m not a fan of smartphones. They can be handy during a power outage to find out when the lights might come back on, but otherwise I rarely use mine.
What DON’T you own that shocks people when they find out?
Here are some other things I don’t own, but are less shocking – air conditioner, heat exchanger, oil tank, automatic transmission, a Stanley or Yeti cup, a Fitbit, a smartwatch.
