Besides radio, I’ve done a few other things for a living.
One was teaching computer server configuration and administration.
It was alright, but somewhat boring teaching the same thing every day. (They were one day courses)
Believe it or not, I pumped septic tanks for a day, from digging the hole, pumping the tank and emptying the truck at the recycling centre.
Honestly, it wasn’t that bad. Most of the smell is heavier than air so it stays in the septic tank.
You just have to be careful when you open the spigot on the back of the tanker truck when it’s time to dump the load.
But the jobs I couldn’t do would be roofing or going up in a bucket truck as a lineman.
I have a terrible fear of heights (although I tell myself it’s actually a fear of falling)
What job would you not do and why?
