During the initial session, Council will receive a comprehensive overview of the budget from staff, helping to set priorities and direction for the upcoming year. Two additional meetings are slated for Council to finalize the draft budget.
The public is encouraged to participate in the process, with the first session open for attendance at the Queens Council chambers from 9 am until noon this week. It’s an opportunity for residents to gain insight into the budget process and understand where Council is considering investments for the community.

The final draft budget is scheduled to be presented and voted on during the April 23rd council meeting, pending any major delays in the process.
All meetings will be held at the Council Chamber, Region of Queens Administration Building, located at 249 White Point Road, Liverpool, NS. Residents are welcome to attend and engage in the budget discussions shaping the future of the region.
