There is a new 24-hour food pantry in Lunenburg, thanks to the community group We Feed Lunenburg.
Located outside of the Water Market on Victoria Road the pantry aims to help people in the community struggling with food insecurity.
The idea is for anyone with extra non-perishable food items to drop them off at the pantry, which can then be collected by those in need when they drop by.
The pantry is located in a well-lit area and is under video surveillance to improve safety.
We Feed Lunenburg has also indicated that the Water Market has some limited space for extra items in the event the pantry is fully stocked.
