The Nova Scotia Mobile Clinic will be visiting Shelburne three of the next four Saturdays.
- Saturday, May 11 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Saturday, May 25 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Saturday, June 1 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The clinic will be setup at Shelburne Family Practice, located at 1606 Lake Road.
It’s intended primarily for those without a family doctor but can help anyone in need of non-urgent medical care.
Types of concerns that may be addressed at the mobile primary care clinic include:
• Prescription refills or renewals (except for controlled substances)
• Minor respiratory symptoms
• Sore throat
• Earaches
• Fever
• Headache
• Rashes
• Minor gastrointestinal concerns (vomiting and diarrhea)
• Cough, flu, or cold symptoms
• Urinary tract infections
• Muscle pain
Anyone planning to visit the clinic is asked to bring their Nova Scotia Health Card.
