Update: As of 4:15 p.m. the road closure in place on Northfield Rd has ended.
Multiple fire departments are responding to a structure fire on Northfield Road just outside of Bridgewater.
Northfield Road has been closed to traffic in both directions, with the closure running from the intersection with Highway 325 and Station Road.
Firefighters at the scene indicated the road would likely be closed for hours and advised motorists to avoid the area.
