The Montreal Canadiens Alumni Tour rolls into Liverpool Thursday night to play the Queens Manor Cougars.
Some of the former Habs suiting up in the game include Arron Asham, Chris Nilan, Oleg Petrov, Stephane Richer and Patrice Brisebois.
The game will support Queens Manor – Adult Day program, which offers service to seniors.
Brisebois says he looks forward to lacing up the skates.
“It’s always for a great cause and you know that really touches me because that’s the fun about it. I’m playing hockey, great cause and that means everybody is a winner.”
The evening will also consist of 50/50, draws, prizes, and give aways.
Brisebois says the team is looking forward to the challenge and having fun.
“We know how to play the game, we know how to move the puck. If the guys are ready to give us a good challenge, we are up to it.”
The game starts at 7pm Thursday at Queens Place Emera Centre.
Tickets are available at the door.
