15-year old Owen Parsons is our Athlete of the Week!
Owen attended an open tryout earlier this year where he was selected to attend a 4 day elite development camp at Acadia University. Once there, he was selected to the U15 Provincial volleyball team!
Training sessions started in Halifax over the summer and he competed in the Eastern Elite Championship from July 25 to July 27 at the Canada Games Center in Halifax.
Owen also pitches for the Bridgewater Bulldogs u15 AA baseball team.
Way to go, Owen! As CKBW’s Athlete of the week, he also won $50 to Cleve’s Source for Sports!
