One of the largest employers in Liverpool will be closing it’s doors, however, the jobs will remain. Hinduja Global Solutions Canada (HGS) will not be renewing their lease on their Liverpool offices, meaning the offices will be shut down once the lease runs out at the end of March.
Senior Vice President of Operations for HGS Canada Ross Duff offered the good news that comes with this announcement.
“We are pleased to offer all 40 of our employees in Liverpool options to continue working for HGS with our Work at Home program, which we imagine most of our front end staff will take.”
This means the building will have no tenants as of April, freeing up the Region of Queens who owns the property to seek new tenants.
We reached out to the Region of Queens for comment on the story, we were told they were in the process of preparing a press release at the time of publication.
Updates to come.
