Petroleum products saw another rough week as prices continued to plummet amidst Covid-19, leading to the use of the interruptor clause again.
Looking back two weeks a barrel of crude was selling for $46.75(USD), today the price has been around $28.
In response, the Nova Scotia Utility and Review Board announced they would be using the interrupter clause for the second time in as many weeks.
Last time the clause saw gas prices drop up to ten cents in some parts of the province.
The NSUARB has not said what way the price will move but most markets globally are down indicating Nova Scotia will follow the same trend.
