There are now five presumptive cases of the COVID-19 coronavirus in Nova Scotia.
In a release, Dr. Robert Strang, Nova Scotia’s chief medical officer of health announced that the two cases are in Halifax Regional Municipality and are related.
They are a male and female, both in their 50’s, who were in close contact with individuals who had recently travelled outside the country.
Dr. Strang also said that two other individuals in the household are also now in self-isolation and being tested.
None of the cases are listed as “confirmed” so far.
