A Nova Scotian comedian has passed away.
Andrew Vaughan, who was well known throughout the Halifax and Nova Scotia comedy community, passed away peacefully in his sleep.
A post on his Facebook page said while there weren’t many details to share, Vaughan “Went to sleep happy last night.”
Vaughan, originally from Bridgewater, started his comedy career in 2010 in Halifax, and made his first appearance for the Halifax Comedy Festival Homegrown show in 2014.
Since then, he toured across the country, performed with Yuk Yuk’s and Absolute Comedy, and released a comedy album in 2017 titled “Too Fat To Go Kart”
In the post it said funeral and memorial details will come as they are made.
