I made a post a 10 days ago on What The World Looked Like The Last Time Gas Sold For 80¢ On The South Shore.
At the time, I thought it was a blip at the pumps and would shoot back up the next week.
Ooooh, how wrong I was!
If you haven’t ventured out of the house yet, gas is now selling for under 65¢ on the South Shore. According to Statistics Canada, the last time fuel was this low on the South Shore was February 2002 — 18+ Years Ago!
Here’s what the world looked like:

It’s unreal to see gas selling for this low at our local gas stations… and I wouldn’t be surprised if it goes lower. Next week I could be posting a story on What the World Was Like The Last Time Gas Sold For 50¢ On The South Shore.
Although, I’d prefer Gas Prices to go back up if it meant the Coronavirus was no longer an issue. Remember to do your part to help #FlattenTheCurve, and if you have questions about the state of COVID-19 in NS, click here!
