I’ve never been called a tree hugger but it wouldn’t bother me if you labelled me that way, and after tonight it will be official.
You see on this Earth Day 2020 in Iceland authorities have recommended hugging a tree for 5 minutes to combat loneliness. The head of the Icelandic Forest Service suggested that everyone should go out and hug a tree for their own well being. One forest manager says that when you hug a tree you feel it first in your toes and then up your legs and into your chest, and then up into your head.
Once things dry out today I’m going to give it a try. And afterwards do a tick check.
