Last season Woodworth recorded 67 points in 34 games during his rookie season with the UPS Store South Shore Mustangs.
His efforts helped lead the team to finish on top of the regular season standings for the first time in franchise history.
The QMJHL sent out a release earlier this week stating their intention of starting their 68 games a regular season on October 1.
We are expecting to speak with Luke tomorrow so stay tuned for his reaction.
