A friend of mine who is a small business owner runs a very cramped small shop and as part of their preparations to protect their staff and customers ask that all customers entering the shop wear a mask. A small demand, especially where they are selling masks at cost – a buck.
What has surprised her the most is the amount of pushback she’s getting from customers. Even from people who should know better like one person who said “I work at South Shore Regional and have to wear a mask all day, and I’m not going to wear a mask to go in your store!”
As far as shopping on the South Shore, is wearing a mask a deal breaker for you?
