Currently, there are BPS and RCMP cruisers set up along roads that access Glen Allan Drive, Aberdeen Road and LaHave Street. That area of town is BPS jurisdiction so it would be uncommon for RCMP cruisers to be on duty in that area of town.
Additionally, military personnel has been spotted in the area and it was announced earlier this week that they had been dispatched to assist with the manhunt of Tobias Doucette.
Traffic is congested along North Street and Aberdeen Road as a result of the closure.
