Our Athlete of the Week is 10-year-old Abby Peterson of East Green Harbour
She has been working really hard on her basketball skills during this pandemic, playing everyday in her back yard practicing and striving to get better and better. When its raining, she can be heard bouncing her basketball throughout the family home.
When it comes to sports Abby has an amazing work ethic, determination, and strives to be the best she can be.
Abby and her team won a gold medal in U12 Girls Basketball Provincials 2020, right before pandemic. She was awarded MVP of the tournament.
Way to go, Abby! As Athlete of the Week, she scored a $50 Gift Certificate to Cleve’s Source for Sports in Bridgewater!
