No one was injured in a minor accident involving a South Shore Regional Centre For Education, (SSRCE) school bus this morning.
The bus which operates Route 237 to Newcombville Elementary was rear-ended on its route this morning.
The damage is described as minor to the bus and the SSRCE expects it to return to the road in the near future.
EHS paramedics attended the scene as a precaution but all students were unscathed and they were taken to school by another bus shortly after the incident.
Ashley Gallant, Coordinator of Communications for the SSRCE says all parents were notified their children were safe as is the protocol for all bus-related incidents.
Gallant says weather is not believed to have played a factor in the collision.
Bus departures for Necombville Elementary and all other SSRCE schools are not expected to be impacted in spite of the bus being off the road for today.
