I’m sure there was a lot of disappointment this week when it was announced that Monday’s planned reopening of the Atlantic Bubble has been put off for another couple of weeks.
After seeing the grim statistics of Covid caseloads in New Brunswick’s Edmunston area I breathed a sigh of relief.
Also, I don’t have any close friends or family in either New Brunswick or PEI but for those of you who do I feel your pain.
For struggling businesses who were looking forward to an influx of Atlantic Bubble tourists I really wonder how many we would get in April? The tourists rarely arrive before the Victoria Day weekend in May.
What’s your take on reopening the bubble? Are you fine with a May reopening or would you like to see everyone wait until June when the majority of the population is vaccinated?
