The provincial Green Party is officially kicking of their campaign Thursday.
Interim leader Jessica Alexander is set to launch the campaign over Zoom at 6 p.m. that evening.
The province’s three major political parties all launched their campaigns shortly after the election was called Saturday.
Alexander said this campaign must be about eco-issues.
“We’ve done relatively well throughout the pandemic, and many people are moving here to live the way we do. There are so many benefits to having our province grow in numbers, but there are adaptations that we haven’t made. The Greens are here to propose sustainable solutions to the next challenges.”
The Greens said they have officially nominated candidates in 30 ridings, and have six more which will be announced shortly.
