The Atlantica Party believes the Liberals proposed “ScotiaPass” could violate “basic and fundamental freedoms.”
The party is planning two protests to show its stance against provincial vaccine certificates.
They say the vaccination record could be used to deny Nova Scotians who are not fully vaccinated from services like travelling and being in public places.
The first protest is set for 3 p.m. on Saturday in front of Province House in downtown Halifax.
The second will take place at the city’s Victoria Park on Saturday at 11 a.m.
Meantime, Liberal Leader Iain Rankin has said his re-elected government would take a thoughtful approach and ensure privacy is protected.
