The Lumberjacks are on the road tonight for their final preseason game against the Valley Wildcats.
The Jacks are 1-2-0 so far in the preseason with their lone win coming in a home game last Friday against the Yarmouth Mariners.
In the three games already played Cole Julien has put on impressive displays that have led him to the top of the Jacks points leaders list. Through his three games, he has racked up five points with two goals and three assists.
That could be a positive sign that a potential breakthrough season is ahead for him as prior to this preseason he has never been a prolific scorer. In his last two full regular seasons with the Truro Bearcats, he put up 27 points over 95 games.
The game against the Wildcats gets underway tonight at the Kings Mutual Century Centre, puck drop is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
Following tonight’s action, the Jacks have a short break before the regular season begins. They are scheduled to open their regular season at home against the Pictou County Weeks Crushers on September 30.
