
Nova Scotia RCMP are out with their latest stats on impaired driving for the month of March, in which they issued 109 impairment-related charges.
Most of the charges were related to alcohol, with 97 of the 109 charges.
The full list of charges include;
- 48 charged with Impaired Operation of a Conveyance by Alcohol
- 7 charged with Impaired Operation of a Conveyance by Drug
- 5 charged with Refusal of a Demand Made by a Peace Officer
- 49 issued driving suspensions for Operating a Conveyance While Having Consumed Alcohol.
With summer not far away the RCMP is reminding the public they will be out on the roads all summer long monitoring for impaired drivers.
They say you should always make plans ahead of time to get home safely if you plan to drink.
