The Liverpool Privateers announced Thursday that they have hired former Halifax Mooseheads captain Ryan Falkenham as their newest Head Coach.
Falkenham is most well known for his four-year stint with the Halifax Mooseheads, which saw him win the Memorial Cup in 2013, and then captain the team the following season. Fakenham’s playing career was cut short due to a hip injury he sustained when he was 19.
Following his playing career, Falkenham began coaching as an assistant for the Drummondville Voltigeurs, after two years he then became an assitant for Dalhousie. Most recently Falkenham has been the Head Coach of Citadel High School’s hockey team.
Falkenham will be behind the bench for his first game on Remembrance Day, with the Privateers hosting the Sackville Blazers.
